Product Introduction

Neoprene latex mortar, or RF cationic neoprene latex waterproof and anticorrosive mortar, is formulated from high-molecular polymer emulsion, special cementing materials, and premium aggregates through a specialized process. This mortar stands out for its exceptional adhesion, crack resistance, frost resistance, anti-seepage, anti-corrosion, chloride ion penetration resistance, abrasion resistance, and anti-aging qualities. It's widely used in strengthening building structures, waterproofing air defense facilities, preventing seepage in reservoir dams and ports, protecting chemical corrosion-prone areas like thermal pools, landfills, chemical warehouses, and tanks, repairing concrete on roads, bridge decks, tunnels, and culverts, and handling anti-leakage for roofs, bathrooms, and basements in industrial and civil buildings. It also works well for waterproofing steel structures and reinforced concrete, with the added advantage of direct application on wet bases and strong bonding to various substrates. Suitable for projects in water conservancy, ports, highways, bridges, metallurgy, chemical industries, and more.

Packaging and Storage: Liquid in 20kg, 50kg, or 200kg plastic barrels (shelf life: 12 months); powder in 50kg composite kraft paper bags (shelf life: 6 months). Store in ventilated, dry rooms at 5-30°C, protected from sunlight. Non-toxic, odorless, and eco-friendly for general transport.


Product Usage

For construction process:

  • Prime the surface with an even coat of neoprene latex cement mortar; apply the main layer once it's touch-dry.

  • Apply in strips or staggered blocks (max 12m² area, 1.5m width); maintain 24h intervals for joints. Pre-fix joint strips on slopes, remove after application, then seal seams with neoprene cement paste and mortar. Stagger joint positions in layered work.

  • Spread and press the mortar firmly, smoothing in one pass; pierce bubbles for a dense finish. For vertical or overhead surfaces over 10mm thick, layer in 5-10mm increments, proceeding when previous layer is touch-dry.

  • Add a polymer cement paste topcoat after 12-24h. Use mixed mortar before initial set; discard if gelled or clumped.

  • Cure by spraying water or covering with sealed plastic film for 7 days, followed by 21 days of natural curing.

Precautions:

  • Construct at 10-35°C ambient; insulate below 5°C. Avoid strong winds, rain, or direct sun exposure.

  • Store latex away from summer sunlight and winter freezing.

  • Skip application on bases cured less than 3 days.

  • Rinse base with water to dampen (no standing water) before use.

  • Level uneven metal bases with polymer cement mortar first.

  • Test mix ratios and methods based on site conditions before proceeding.

  • Clean tools and machinery immediately after use.
