JGN812 is a two-component epoxy adhesive engineered for bonding and repairing composite wind turbine blades in factory and field.
Summary Benefits at a Glance
Long pot life at room temperature, flexible assembly window
High shear and peel strength; strong fatigue performance
Cures reliably under wide temperature and humidity ranges
Excellent durability to thermal cycling and moisture aging
Product Introduction
JGN812 is a structural epoxy adhesive designed for FRP/composite wind turbine blades, core materials and metal inserts. The A:B system provides a balanced rheology for gap filling and wet-out, a long workable time at 23 °C for large parts, and high final strength after curing. It performs under manufacturing and field repair conditions, maintaining bonding reliability after thermal cycling and humidity aging. Typical uses include blade shell bonding, spar cap bonding, trailing-edge bonding and structural crack repair.

Product Usage
Substrate preparation
Grind or abrade bonding surfaces; remove dust, grease and contaminants; dry and clean.
Mixing
Mix component A and B at 100:50 by weight until color and texture are uniform; avoid entrapped air.
Application
Apply a continuous adhesive layer to both surfaces; assemble within pot life; fix parts with clamps or fixtures to maintain bondline.
Curing
Ambient cure at 23 °C (typical) or accelerate with controlled heating per process window. Do not move parts until handling strength is achieved.
Packaging & Storage
Standard kit: A 15 kg + B 5 kg (other packages on request).
Shelf life: 12 months in unopened containers at 5–25 °C, cool and dry, away from sunlight.
Notes
Verify compatibility with specific substrates by trial bonding.
Observe PPE and ventilation requirements when handling epoxy systems.
