SW produces a large volume of stable underground fill from a relatively small quantity of dry material, making it suitable for goafs, empty roadways and mine fire-control filling.
Very High Filling Yield
Depending on the selected grade, approximately 100–400 kg of dry material is required per cubic metre of filling material.
Nine Water-Ratio Grades
SW-3 to SW-11 cover water-to-powder mass ratios from 3:1 to 11:1.
Stable Before Mixing, Rapid Setting Afterwards
The separate A and B slurries remain flowable before combination and gel within 30 minutes after mixing.
Designed for Large Underground Voids
The material is suitable for goaf filling, abandoned roadways, cavity filling and underground fire-control grouting.
Product Introduction
SW Ultra-High-Yield Mine Void Filling Grout is a two-component inorganic filling material developed for large-volume underground filling.
It consists of separate Component A and Component B mineral powders. Each component is mixed with water independently. The two slurries remain flowable before mixing and are pumped through separate lines to the filling area.
SW grades use water-to-powder mass ratios from 3:1 to 11:1. Depending on the selected grade, water represents approximately 89.7% to 97.0% of the filling body by volume. Dry material consumption is normally about 100–400 kg per cubic metre.
After the two slurries are combined at a 1:1 ratio, the grout gels within approximately 30 minutes. The setting time can be adjusted for pumping distance and site conditions.
The hardened filling body is based mainly on a water-retaining mineral structure. When placed in a confined filling area, it develops sufficient early strength for goaf, roadway and cavity filling.
SW is intended primarily for high-volume filling and mine fire-control applications. It is not positioned as a high-strength structural rock-consolidation grout.

Product Usage
Typical Applications
• Goaf filling in underground coal mines
• Filling of abandoned and empty roadways
• Large underground cavity and void filling
• Bagged filling in mechanised mining operations
• Underground fire-prevention filling
• Sealing of air-leakage paths in mined-out areas
• Filling associated with selected partial-extraction mining methods
Application Method
1. Inspect and isolate the filling area.
2. Install retaining structures, bulkheads or filling bags where required.
3. Prepare Component A and Component B separately using the specified water ratio.
4. Maintain agitation while the separate slurries are stored.
5. Pump A and B through separate lines using matched flow control.
6. Combine the two slurries at a 1:1 ratio in an in-line mixer.
7. Deliver the mixed grout directly into the filling area.
8. Monitor filling level, pipeline pressure and slurry flow continuously.
9. Stop filling when the designed volume or level has been reached.
10. Flush slurry lines and mixing equipment immediately after completion.
The SW grade must be selected according to required filling yield, early strength, confinement condition and mine operating requirements.
