High-Yield Two-Component Mine Backfill Grout produces a rapid-setting underground fill with approximately 500-600 kg of dry material per cubic metre.
High Filling Yield
Approximately 500-600 kg of dry material is required to produce one cubic metre of hardened fill at the stated mix ratio.
Controlled Gel Time
The combined A and B slurries gel within 20 minutes, with adjustment available for approved project conditions.
Stable Separate Slurries
The individual A and B slurries have a setting time of at least 24 hours before they are combined.
Early Support Strength
The filling body develops at least 1.0 MPa after 2 hours, 3.0 MPa after 1 day and 4.5 MPa after 7 days.
Product Introduction
High-Yield Two-Component Mine Backfill Grout is a prepacked inorganic filling system for underground mining applications. It is supplied as separate Component A and Component B mineral powders.
Each component is mixed with water independently and conveyed through a separate line. The two slurries are combined at a 1:1 volume ratio close to the filling point. After mixing, the grout gels within 20 minutes and forms a stable, water-rich filling body.
At the recommended water-to-powder ratio of 1.5:1, approximately 500-600 kg of dry material is required for one cubic metre of hardened fill. The lower dry-material demand reduces the quantity of material that must be transported underground and supports pipeline placement into enclosed or irregular spaces.
The hardened fill develops at least 1.0 MPa after 2 hours, 3.0 MPa after 1 day and 4.5 MPa after 7 days. It is intended for gob-side entry retaining, empty roadway filling, goaf filling and underground void filling where early support capacity is required.
This is a prepacked two-component high-water backfill system. It is not a tailings-based paste-backfill binder or a conventional concrete admixture.

Product Usage
Typical Applications
• Gob-side entry retaining and roadside filling
• Goaf filling in underground coal and metal mines
• Filling of abandoned or empty mine roadways
• Underground cavity and void filling
• Roof-contact filling behind retaining structures
• Mine subsidence-control filling
• Filling of irregular underground spaces where concrete placement is difficult
Application Procedure
1. Inspect and isolate the filling area. Install formwork, retaining structures or filling bags where required.
2. Prepare Component A and Component B in separate mixers using the specified water-to-powder ratio.
3. Keep the two slurries in separate tanks and pipelines. Do not allow the components to mix before the designated mixing point.
4. Pump the A and B slurries simultaneously at an equal-volume ratio.
5. Combine both slurries in an in-line mixer immediately before placement.
6. Deliver the mixed grout continuously into the filling area while monitoring flow, pipeline pressure and fill level.
7. Stop placement when the designed volume or filling level has been reached.
8. Flush the pumps, pipelines and mixing unit with clean water immediately after use.
A site trial should be completed before full-scale application to confirm gel time, pumping distance, line pressure and actual material consumption.
