CBGM 85/100 provides stable, bleed-free grouting around rock bolts and cable bolts while maintaining pumpable flow for long boreholes.
85 MPa and 100 MPa Grades
Two compressive-strength classes are available for different mining and tunnelling support designs.
High Retained Flow
Initial flow is at least 300 mm and remains at least 260 mm after 30 minutes.
Zero Bleeding
The stable slurry reduces settlement, voids and incomplete encapsulation around bolts and cables.
High Early Strength
The grout reaches at least 35 MPa after 1 day and at least 60 MPa after 3 days.
Product Introduction
CBGM High-Strength Rock Bolt & Cable Bolt Grout 85/100 is a prepacked cementitious grout for underground and geotechnical ground-support systems.
The product is used to fill the annular space between a drilled borehole and a rock bolt, cable bolt, anchor bar or other steel reinforcement. Once hardened, the grout transfers load between the steel element and the surrounding rock.
The grout has an initial flow of at least 300 mm and retains at least 260 mm after 30 minutes. This allows time for mixing and pumping into long or inclined boreholes.
CBGM-85 reaches at least 85 MPa after 28 days. CBGM-100 reaches at least 100 MPa. Both grades reach at least 35 MPa after 1 day and at least 60 MPa after 3 days.
Zero bleeding and controlled vertical expansion help maintain contact with the steel and borehole wall. The product contains no added coarse aggregate and is supplied as a dry premix requiring only clean water on site.

Product Usage
Typical Applications
• Full-column grouting of rock bolts
• Cable bolt and long-strand cable grouting
• Roof-bolt grouting in underground mine roadways
• Rock-bolt installation in tunnels, shafts and caverns
• Anchor-bar grouting in slopes and retaining structures
• Selected hollow-bar and self-drilling anchor systems
• Ground-support grouting in underground mining and civil tunnelling
Application Method
1. Clean the borehole and remove drilling dust and loose particles.
2. Measure the required quantity of clean water.
3. Add the dry grout gradually while operating a high-shear mixer.
4. Mix until a smooth and uniform slurry is obtained.
5. Pump from the lowest practical point of the borehole.
6. Allow air, water and excess grout to escape through the return path.
7. Continue until consistent return grout confirms full encapsulation.
8. Secure the bolt or cable against movement during initial hardening.
9. Apply design load only after the specified strength has been reached.
A site trial should confirm water dosage, hose length, pumping pressure, grout return and material consumption.
