Product Introduction
Fast Repair Type I is a specialized cementitious mortar for vertical and overhead structural repairs. It restores damaged protective layers, honeycombs, voids and surface defects, providing high early strength, robust adhesion and a low-shrinkage finish. The formulation resists cracking, carbonation and water penetration, improving service life of repaired sections. Recommended for bridges, tunnels, industrial plants, building façades and soffits where rapid reopening is required.

Product Usage
Surface Preparation
Remove loose concrete, laitance, dust, oils; expose sound substrate.
Pre-wet substrate to SSD (saturated surface-dry); keep moist 2–3 h before repair.
Priming
Brush on a bonding slurry (cement:water ≈ 1:1) or specified primer; place mortar while surface is tacky.
Mixing
Water-to-mortar ≈ 0.14–0.16 by weight.
Mechanical mix 2–3 min to a cohesive, non-sag paste.
Placement
Apply with trowel or spatula; build up 5–10 mm per pass for vertical/overhead, compact well.
Finish as required; avoid over-trowelling.
Curing
Protect from sun, frost and vibration. Moist cure ≥ 24 h.
Minimum application temperature ≥ 5 °C.
Coverage (guide)
≈ 18–20 kg/m²·10 mm thickness.
Packaging & Storage
25 kg composite kraft bags; shelf life 6 months in cool, dry, ventilated storage.
