Product Usage
For optimal results with this silane impregnating agent (functioning as a silane penetrating sealer or silane water repellent), follow these steps tailored for concrete structures like bridges, dams, and tunnels:
Construction Conditions: Apply after 2-4 weeks curing for new concrete or 1-2 weeks for repairs. Ensure ambient temperature 5-40℃, wind ≤6 level, and no rain or damp surfaces. Confirm concrete moisture ≤8%.
Surface Preparation: Repair defects, clean with wire brush, compressed air, and fresh water to remove dust/oil. Dry for >3 days; ensure no release agents.
Testing: Conduct spray trials before large-scale use; core sample to verify ≥3mm penetration and ≤0.01 mm/min¹/² water absorption.
Application:
Liquid (T99/T99A): Spray continuously to saturation (overflow), brush flats to wet, verticals bottom-up with 15-20cm sag. Two coats at 300g/m² each, 4-6h interval.
Paste (T80/T80A): Use airless sprayer for large areas or brush/scraper for small; ensure uniform coverage.
Curing & Precautions: Rain-proof for 24h; air dry ≥36h summer/≥72h winter. Stop if rain starts and cover. Surface may darken temporarily but restores without performance loss.
Safety: Wear PPE (masks, goggles, gloves); rinse contact with water. Non-flammable; store in cool, dry place (shelf life 12 months).
