Product Introduction

JGN804A is a two-component low viscosity epoxy resin formulated for concrete crack injection and grouting repair. It is suitable for gravity-feed and low-pressure injection of 0.1–1.5 mm concrete cracks and internal defects such as honeycombs and voids.

The JGN804A product specification requires an initial viscosity below 100 mPa·s. A representative test result is 86 mPa·s. Typical mechanical test results include 98 MPa compressive strength, 61 MPa tensile strength, 25.9 MPa tensile shear strength, 86 MPa flexural strength, 6.1 MPa dry bond strength and 4.8 MPa wet bond strength.

JGN804A contains no volatile solvents and is formulated to cure without shrinkage. After curing, it provides high mechanical strength, toughness, impact resistance and strong dry and wet bond performance.

For moving cracks, active water leakage or conditions outside the stated application range, consult ZRETE’s technical team and the project engineer before use.

Product Usage

Basic Application Method

1. Inspect the crack and confirm that epoxy injection is suitable for the repair condition.

2. Remove dust, oil, loose particles and other contaminants from the crack and surrounding concrete.

3. Seal the crack surface and install compatible injection ports, bases and sealing plugs.

4. Mix Component A and Component B at a 3:1 ratio by weight until the material is uniform. Follow the latest approved Technical Data Sheet for mixing time and application temperature.

5. Apply JGN804A by gravity feed or low-pressure injection according to the crack condition and approved method statement.

6. For vertical cracks, begin at the lowest injection point and proceed upward.

7. Continue injection until resin reaches the adjacent port or the crack is completely filled.

8. Allow the material to cure in accordance with the latest Technical Data Sheet.

9. Remove the injection ports, finish the repaired surface and verify that the crack has been completely filled.

Packaging and Storage:

• Component A: 9 kg/drum

• Component B: 3 kg/drum

• Mixing ratio: Component A : Component B = 3 : 1 by weight

• Storage: Store unopened in a cool, shaded and well-ventilated indoor area.

• Shelf life: 12 months under the recommended storage conditions.

FAQ 1

What is the initial viscosity of JGN804A epoxy injection resin?

The JGN804A product specification requires an initial viscosity below 100 mPa·s. The typical test result is 86 mPa·s under the stated laboratory conditions.

FAQ 2

What crack widths can JGN804A repair?

JGN804A is designed for concrete cracks from 0.1 to 1.5 mm wide. Its low viscosity and strong penetration allow it to enter microcracks as narrow as 0.1 mm.

FAQ 3

What is the difference between a product specification and a typical test result?

A product specification is a control limit that the product is required to meet. A typical test result is a representative laboratory result and should not be interpreted as a guaranteed value for every production batch.

FAQ 4

What are the typical strength values of JGN804A?

Under the stated test conditions, JGN804A achieved a typical compressive strength of 98 MPa, tensile strength of 61 MPa, tensile shear strength of 25.9 MPa and flexural strength of 86 MPa.

FAQ 5

What are the typical dry and wet bond strengths of JGN804A?

The typical dry bond strength is 6.1 MPa, and the typical wet bond strength is 4.8 MPa under the stated test conditions.

FAQ 6

What is the mixing ratio of JGN804A?

Mix Component A and Component B at a 3:1 ratio by weight at normal temperature.

FAQ 7

Does JGN804A contain volatile solvents?

According to the supplied product literature, JGN804A contains no volatile solvents and does not shrink during curing. Refer to the latest Safety Data Sheet for handling and safety information.
