Calcium-magnesium composite expansion agent is based on the actual temperature and contraction course of concrete, the use of specially formulated calcium expansion components to produce early expansion to compensate for early self-shrinkage and produce pre-compressive stress under the constraint conditions, and the specific activity of magnesium expansion components to compensate for the temperature drop contraction and late contraction, to realize the concrete shrinkage inhibition in phases and in the whole process to achieve the purpose of non-shrinkage, which reduces the risk of cracking of the concrete and improves the The durability of concrete is improved.

FAQ 

Q: How does CMCE compare to shrinkage-reducing admixtures (SRA)? 

A: SRAs lower surface tension but don’t actively expand. CMCE provides positive volume increase (0.025% min. per ASTM C845) for guaranteed crack closure.


Q: Can CMCE replace joint fillers in slabs-on-grade? 

A: Yes! At 8% dosage, it enables jointless slabs up to 40m x 40m (per ACI 360R design). 


Q: Is special curing required?

A: Standard moist curing (7d) is sufficient. No membrane curing needed.
