Yellow River Bridge Pier Fiberglass Sleeve Strengthening Project
The Yellow River Bridge Pier Fiberglass Sleeve Strengthening Project involved repair and protection of bridge piers exposed to river water, moisture, erosion and long-term structural deterioration. The work required reliable underwater bonding, sealing and grouting materials for fiberglass sleeve jacketing around existing concrete piers.
For this project, Sino-Sina Building Materials Co., Ltd. supplied a complete underwater repair material system:
CBGM Underwater Anti-Washout Injection Grout – used for underwater injection, void filling and anti-washout grouting around repaired pier sections.
EGM-100S Underwater Epoxy Grout – used for high-strength underwater epoxy grouting where durable bonding and low-shrink filling were required.
ZRETE Underwater Adhesive – used to bond and seal fiberglass sleeves to concrete surfaces in wet and submerged conditions.
The material system supported fiberglass sleeve installation, underwater adhesive bonding, edge sealing and annular gap grouting around the bridge piers. It helped improve the integrity of the repaired pier surface, reduce water erosion risk and provide long-term protection for the bridge substructure.
