G15 Shenhai Expressway Dagu River Bridge Underwater Pier Strengthening Project
The G15 Shenhai Expressway Dagu River Bridge Substructure Rehabilitation Project focused on underwater strengthening of bridge piers using a fiberglass sleeve jacketing system. The site involved wet and partially submerged conditions, where bonding, sealing and grouting materials needed to perform reliably without washout.
For this project, Sino-Sina Building Materials Co., Ltd. supplied a complete underwater repair material system:
CBGM Underwater Anti-Washout Injection Grout – used for underwater injection, void filling and repair around damaged pier sections, with stable anti-washout performance in wet conditions.
EGM-100S Underwater Epoxy Grout – used where high bonding strength, durability and low-shrink epoxy grouting were required.
ZRETE Underwater Adhesive – used for bonding and sealing fiberglass sleeves to concrete surfaces in underwater or damp environments.
The material system supported fiberglass sleeve installation, underwater bonding, joint sealing and annular gap grouting around the bridge piers. It helped improve the integrity of the repaired substructure, reduce water erosion risks and extend the service life of the bridge pier system.
This project demonstrates ZRETE’s ability to provide practical material solutions for underwater bridge repair, pier strengthening, fiberglass sleeve reinforcement and submerged concrete rehabilitation.
